Consultation on Westmount’s houses of worship: results of the online survey
In fall 2018, the City invited the community to share concerns and ideas as part of a consultation process concerning the sustainable future of Houses of Worship within the territory of Westmount. The public was invited to complete an online survey.

The results from the online survey showed that:
- The architecture and the preservation of the built heritage of the houses of worship are the aspects that the community is most concerned about;
- Zoning changes to integrate complementary uses are deemed acceptable by the community.
These findings will be taken into consideration when working out a proposal to submit to the City Council in the near future.
