At the beginning of September and October 2023, the City mailed two reminder notices to the owners of the buildings concerned. <strong>On October 16, the City Clerk forwarded to the City Council the list of properties for which taxes remain unpaid. Council adopted a resolution ordering the publication and sale of the properties concerned.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>IMPORTANT DATES\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>November 8, 2023:<\/strong> Publication in the press of a first notice containing the list of properties for which property taxes remain unpaid.<\/li>\n<li><strong>November 15, 2023:<\/strong> Publication in the press of a 2<sup>nd<\/sup> notice containing the list of properties for which property taxes remain unpaid.<\/li>\n<li><strong>December 6, 2023:<\/strong> Sale by auction of properties for which property taxes remain unpaid.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The sale of properties for non-payment of taxes is carried out in accordance with the Cities and Towns Act.
