This closure is necessary in order to\u00a0 resume the repair work on the elevated structures of the Ville-Marie. The work includes building new piers, replacing drainage systems and deck expansion joints, and asphalting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Obstacles and traffic management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Exit no. 3 &#8211; Montr\u00e9al centre-ville \/ Rue Guy off route 136 eastbound\n<ul>\n<li>Long-term closure, from Friday, 11:59 p.m., until late fall.\n<ul>\n<li>IMPORTANT: as this is the last exit before the Ville-Marie Tunnel, vehicles transporting hazardous materials or over 4.4 m in height must use the previous exit on eastbound Route 136, Exit No. 2 &#8211; Av.
