The meeting to adopt the recommendations will take place on Friday, May 19, 2023, from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. <\/strong>All of the information concerning the consultation is available at ville.montreal.qc.ca\/consultation-prebudgetaire-2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Commission sur les finances et l\u2019administration (committee) would like to consult Montrealers on the city\u2019s budget directions for 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 2024 pre-budget consultation is a mechanism of participatory democracy which provides
\nyou with an opportunity to share your ideas and opinions to inform the development of the
\nnext budget. This year, Montrealers are invited to give their input on new ecofiscal and fiscal
\nmeasures, as well as on a review of activities and programs offered by the city and the
\nMontr\u00e9al urban agglomeration.<\/p>\n

The consultation document will be presented during a public information session on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.<\/strong>, in the Council Chamber of City Hall, 155, rue Notre-Dame Est, Montr\u00e9al (\u00e9difice Lucien-Saulnier). The public session will be livestreamed and archived at ville.montreal.qc.ca\/consultation-prebudgetaire-2024. The presentation will be followed by a question and comment period. To take part, register via the online form<\/a> (in French) or onsite, as of 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

To express your views on the themes of the pre-budget consultation, you can:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Present a brief before the committee during the public hearings;<\/li>\n
  2. Submit a brief or an opinion by email, by mail or in person;<\/li>\n
  3. Answer the online questionnaire accessible at https:\/\/montreal.ca\/en\/ from March 22 to
    \nApril 6, 2023.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The committee will adopt its recommendations during a livestreamed public meeting on Friday, May 19, 2023, from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
