Smith, members of council and the Urban Planning Department joined Sophie Mankowski of Portrait Sonore and members of local religious communities at the Congregation Shaar Hashomayim for a formal launch of the project.<\/p>\n<p>The City of Westmount has 11 places of worship, a significant number for a city of some 20,000 inhabitants. While religious heritage is fragile in Quebec, it is also rooted in our history and our communities.
