The sculptures will be created by artist Daniel Vincent Bernard.<\/p>\n<p>In homage to these old trees that have sheltered and enchanted several generations under their foliage, the sculptures will represent a bee (Linda), a fairy (Mrs Aub\u00e9pine) and an old sage (Mr. Gustave).<\/p>\n<p>Park users will be able to admire these sculptures as of the week of June 6.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the King George Park Trees Project<\/strong><br \/>\nMany of the trees in King George Park have outlived their natural life span and have been irreversibly damaged by invasive insects. These trees are dead and constitute a real safety problem for users. The City has developed a 5-year action plan to ensure that a new life cycle takes root in King George Park.
