Your feedback will support the development of the Disability Inclusion Action Plan.<\/p>\n<p>The Disability Inclusion Action Plan will focus on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>reducing poverty among Canadians with disabilities<\/li>\n<li>getting more persons with disabilities into good quality jobs<\/li>\n<li>helping meet the Accessible Canada Act goal of a barrier-free Canada by 2040<\/li>\n<li>making it easier for persons with disabilities to access federal programs and services<\/li>\n<li>fostering a culture of inclusion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All Canadians are invited to participate in this consultation by completing the online questionnaire or by submitting an ALS or LSQ video of their responses. The Government of Canada wishes to hear from:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>persons with a disability<\/li>\n<li>organizations working with persons with a disability<\/li>\n<li>caregivers or family members of persons with a disability<\/li>\n<li>persons identifying as First Nations, Inuk (Inuit), M\u00e9tis or Indigenous<\/li>\n<li>members of racialized groups, the LGBTQ2 community or an official language minority community<\/li>\n<li>all Canadians.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information and to participate in the survey, visit the Government of Canada page <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/employment-social-development\/programs\/accessible-canada\/consultation-disability-inclusion-action-plan.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">Engagement on the Disability Inclusion Action Plan<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The survey will close on August 31, 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><i>(Source: Government of Canada)<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Government of Canada is consulting Canadians on how to improve the lives of Canadians with disabilities.
