{"id":69284,"date":"2020-07-03T14:32:00","date_gmt":"2020-07-03T18:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www2.westmount.org\/?p=69284"},"modified":"2020-07-23T13:57:10","modified_gmt":"2020-07-23T17:57:10","slug":"by-law-no-2020-84-on-the-metropolitan-residual-materials-management-plan-2015-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www2.westmount.org\/en\/by-law-no-2020-84-on-the-metropolitan-residual-materials-management-plan-2015-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"By-law no. 2020-84 on the Metropolitan Residual Materials Management Plan 2015-2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The City of Westmount adopted <strong>Bylaw no. 2020-84<\/strong> amending <strong>Bylaw no. 2016-68<\/strong> on the Metropolitan Residual Materials Management Plan 2015-2020.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of <em>Le Plan m\u00e9tropolitain de gestion des mati\u00e8res r\u00e9siduelles (PMGMR)<\/em> is to plan the management of residual materials for the 82 municipalities of the <em>Communaut\u00e9 m\u00e9tropolitaine de Montr\u00e9al<\/em> and the municipalities of Saint-Placide and L&#8217;\u00c9piphanie (City and Parish).<\/p>\n<p>This plan adheres to the three main issues set out in the Qu\u00e9bec Residual Materials Management Policy <em>(la Politique qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise de gestion des mati\u00e8res r\u00e9siduelles)<\/em>, i.e. to put an end to the waste of resources, to contribute to the objectives of the Climate Change Action Plan and those of the Qu\u00e9bec Energy Strategy, and to make all the players involved in the management of residual materials accountable, as well as to the five major objectives defined in its 2011-2015 Action Plan.<\/p>\n<p>Find the Plan on the <strong>Garbage<\/strong> page in <strong>Management of Residual Materials<\/strong> under the <strong>ENVIRONMENT<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www2.westmount.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/pmgmr_2015_2020_plan.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Please consult the plan for more information &gt;&gt;<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The City of Westmount adopted Bylaw no. 2020-84 amending Bylaw no. 2016-68 on the Metropolitan Residual Materials Management Plan 2015-2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":15,"featured_media":40173,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[6299],"tags":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.1 -
