Located at the intersection of Sainte-Catherine Street West and Atwater Avenue, the new day shelter will provide food and services to homeless people. The opening of this centre is a response to a situation that had become increasingly problematic at Cabot Square and its surroundings since the relocation of the Open Door shelter last year.<\/p>\n<p>The project was carried out by the Native Women&#8217;s Shelter of Montreal and the Nazareth Community with the support of the City of Montreal and several partners, including the City of Westmount. Westmount Mayor, Christina M.
