It is the city\u2019s oldest park and has undergone many changes over the years, as it was expanded west, north and east to its current 26.19 acres.<\/p>\n<p><strong>It is time to invest in this jewel!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Council has committed to consult residents to improve Westmount Park\u2019s accessibility, inclusiveness, and sustainability while preserving its heritage value. A plan will be developed from the consultations and implemented over several years to minimize the impact on users.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, the firm of Stantec was awarded a contract to carry out public consultations concerning Westmount Park. The first initiative will be a survey for all residents about their use of Westmount Park, which will be conducted <strong>from October 28<sup>th<\/sup> to November 18<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong>. It will be available on the city\u2019s new citizen engagement platform at <a href=\"http:\/\/participezwww2.westmount.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>engagewww2.westmount.org<\/strong><\/a> as of October 28.
