Last summer, some multi-residential buildings of nine units or more were introduced to the City’s composting program.<\/p>\n

This participation in the Green Bin program involved replacing one of the two weekly garbage collections with a specific food waste collection.<\/p>\n

However, some of the buildings participating in the program (see map below) still benefit from the two weekly garbage collections, in addition to the new food waste collection.<\/p>\n

As of September, the City will correct the situation by withdrawing Tuesday’s garbage collection for buildings that are already participating in the Tuesday food waste collection.<\/strong><\/p>\n
