During the late morning of November 10, an incident occurred in the electrical room of the apartment complex at 250 Clarke Ave which in turn led to a short circuit on the Hydro Westmount network that supplies the building. Power was out for 17 hours and affected four other apartment buildings in the area.<\/p>\n

Hydro Westmount worked throughout the day and night using all its resources to repair the network and to restore power as quickly as possible. Unfortunately, it was impossible to predict when the power would be restored due to the location and complexity of the faults.
