The project&#8217;s main aim is to replace the electromechanical systems with new, more efficient equipment. The project also includes the complete renovation of the interior spaces: lockerrooms, kitchens, break rooms, and meeting rooms. This project began in June 2024 and is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>City&#8217;s employees who were using the Mess Hall have been relocated to a temporary complex. This consists of site trailers set up in the Public Works Department parking lot.<\/p>\n<p>The work may occasionally cause some inconvenience for nearby residents. Traffic may also increase around the site (materials deliveries and traffic from construction workers).\u00a0\u00a0The City has advised contractors to pay particular attention to nearby residents living on the edge of the project.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your understanding.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Work is underway to renovate the interior of the Mess Hall (a municipal employees&#8217;
