The work consists mainly of rebuilding the four platforms, which are at the end of their useful life, and bringing the site up to accessibility and safety standards. To learn more about the project: <a href=\"https:\/\/exo.quebec\/fr\/actualites\/realisations\/gare-lucien-lallier\">https:\/\/exo.quebec\/fr\/actualites\/realisations\/gare<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/exo.quebec\/fr\/actualites\/realisations\/gare-lucien-lallier\">&#8211;<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/exo.quebec\/fr\/actualites\/realisations\/gare-lucien-lallier\">lucien<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/exo.quebec\/fr\/actualites\/realisations\/gare-lucien-lallier\">&#8211;<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/exo.quebec\/fr\/actualites\/realisations\/gare-lucien-lallier\">lallier<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/exo.quebec\/fr\/actualites\/realisations\/gare-lucien-lallier\">.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>During the renovations, one train line (Saint-J\u00e9r\u00f4me) will be stopping at Montr\u00e9al-Ouest station, and two others (Candiac and Vaudreuil\/Hudson) at Vend\u00f4me station, where users can transfer to the metro.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sector located between Abbott and Hillside Avenues<sup>* <\/sup><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>After stopping at Vend\u00f4me station, the trains have to be manoeuvred before they can go back west. They have to stop on the east side of the railway signal located near Abbott Ave., so that the train team can get off and go to the other end of the train. This manoeuver lasts about 15 to 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>This situation will last for the entire duration of the renovation work at Lucien-L\u2019Allier station, i.e. about a year. However, as of fall 2024, these manoeuvers will be less frequent, since the Vaudreuil\/Hudson line will have regained access to Lucien-L\u2019Allier station.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>* No train can stop between Glen Road and Abbott Ave., since on this stretch, remote-controlled track-changing devices are used.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sector located between Hallowell and Park Weredale avenues<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This location was chosen to park trains that have to remain immobilized for longer periods before returning to the station. These trains have to be kept between the two railway signals located near Abbott and Park Weredale streets.<\/li>\n<li>The trains will stop on a section of the railway line located between Hallowell and Atwater Avenues, according to the following schedule:<br \/>\nMonday to Friday: between 8:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. and between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.<br \/>\nSaturday: between 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. and between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m.<br \/>\nSunday: between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.<\/li>\n<li>This extraordinary measure will remain in place for about six (6) months. Please note that 12 trains will be parked in the sector, compared to 100 trains going by every day under normal conditions.<\/li>\n<li>In order to minimize these inconveniences, locomotive engines will be turned off during stops of more than one hour, in summer only.
