Dorchester &#8211; June to September 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Nature of the work<br \/>\n<\/strong>The City of Westmount will conduct a road resurfacing and Hydro Westmount network reconstruction project on Boul. Dorchester.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration of work<br \/>\n<\/strong>From June 17 to September 13.<br \/>\n(Dates subject to change)<\/p>\n<p>During the month of August, work will also be done on Saturdays. <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.westmount.org\/en\/roadworks-on-dorchester-on-saturdays-in-august\/\">[ Learn more ]<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Work details<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Resurfacing of the asphalt roadway.<\/li>\n<li>Repair of the concrete road base.<\/li>\n<li>Reconstruction of sidewalk and curb segments.<\/li>\n<li>Reconstruction of Hydro Westmount\u2019s network.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Expected impact of work<\/strong><br \/>\nVehicular access to Columbia, Bruce, and Hallowell avenues will be maintained during the works for the residents. At the end of the project, traffic will be closed throughout the work zone for a short period to carry out the paving work. During this period, access to the avenues will be possible via the alleyway from Greene Avenue. Garbage, compost,\u00a0and recycling collection will be carried out according to the sector&#8217;s usual schedule.
