Visit a recycling centre and a landfill

Where does your garbage go? What happens to your recyclables, and how can we better sort our waste?

As part of the Québec Waste Reduction Week, the City invites its residents to participate in two guided tours to discover the recycling and landfill process. Become an expert in the matter !

Please note that:

the tour is reserved for Westmount residents aged 8 and over.
the tours take place indoors and outdoors, so dress for the weather. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.
buses will leave from the Westmount Recreation Centre (4675 Rue Ste-Catherine O.)

Visit to Société Via’s recycling sorting center (Lachine) — FULL

Date : October 23 (regardless of weather)
Meeting time: noon
Return to the WRC: +/- 3:30 p.m. (depending on traffic conditions)
