Ville de Montréal: road closures on Saint-Antoine, Saint-Jacques, from May 21
Ville de Montréal announces new road closures and detours as the Express Bike Network (EBN) development project continues along Rue Saint-Antoine and Rue Saint-Jacques. This phase of work will begin on May 21, 2024, and project completion is planned for fall 2026.
Traffic and parking
- Rue Saint-Antoine from May 21: complete closure between Rue Sainte-Marguerite and Rue du Couvent. Local traffic permitted up to the limit of the work site.
- Rue Saint-Jacques from June: partial closure with maintenance of one lane eastbound, between Greene and Atwater.
- Change of direction of traffic on Rue Saint-Antoine planned for the beginning of June, between Rue Laporte and Avenue Atwater.
- Detour planned via Rue Notre-Dame westbound for the duration of the work.
- Parking restrictions in effect in and around the work site.
- Alternative arrangements provided for pedestrian traffic if necessary.

- Residences, businesses and institutions accessible at all times.
- Work schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Work possible on Saturday and Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
