What is the Green Patrol?
The Green Patrol is a project of the Regroupement des éco-quartiers which aims to promote good environmental habits through education and citizen involvement. The mission of the Green Patrol agents is to raise awareness about environmental issues by encouraging the population to adopt eco-friendly habits. This summer, in Westmount, the Green Patrol’s main mandate is to encourage residents to develop and maintain good waste management habits. To do so, weekly inspections of composting and recycling bins are being done and the implementation of the food waste collection program for buildings with 9 or more units is being promoted.
