Road and electrical network work on Boul. Dorchester – June to September 2024

Nature of the work
The City of Westmount will conduct a road resurfacing and Hydro Westmount network reconstruction project on Boul. Dorchester.

Duration of work
From June 17 to September 13.

Work details

• Resurfacing of the asphalt roadway.
• Repair of the concrete road base.
• Reconstruction of sidewalk and curb segments.
• Reconstruction of Hydro Westmount’s network.

Expected impact of work
Vehicular access to Columbia, Bruce, and Hallowell avenues will be maintained during the works for the residents. At the end of the project, traffic will be closed throughout the work zone for a short period to carry out the paving work. During this period, access to the avenues will be possible via the alleyway from Greene Avenue. Garbage, compost, and recycling collection will be carried out according to the sector’s usual schedule. Hydro Westmount does not anticipate any interruption in service.
