Public notice: Holding of a registry on July 19-20 on zoning by-law for medical clinics
The Municipal Council adopted, at its regular sitting held on June 5, 2023, the second draft of by-law 1601 entitled “BY-LAW TO FURTHER AMEND ZONING BY-LAW 1303 – MEDICAL CLINICS AND DOCTORS’ OFFICES”. The object of the second draft by-law is to repeal the quota and maximum area standards for medical clinics and doctor’s office uses in certain zones.
All qualified voters entitled to have their name entered on the referendum list of the concerned sector may request that second draft of by-law 1601 be submitted to a referendum poll by entering their name, address, and capacity and by signing the register open for that purpose.
The register will be open for registration on Wednesday, July 19, and Thursday, July 20, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day, in the Council Chamber at City Hall, located at 4333 Sherbrooke Street West in Westmount. The results of the registration procedure will be announced the same day at 7:15 p.m.
Note that the initial notice, published on July 14, only mentioned Thursday, July 20, for the registration procedure. An erratum published on July 17 includes updated information, notably the opening of the register over two days.
