PUBLIC DISCUSSION: PROFILE OF THE SPVM CHIEF
The Commission de la sécurité publique (CSP) is inviting Montrealers to a public meeting. At the meeting, the Service des ressources humaines (SRH) will present the results of the consultation that was held to determine the required competencies and qualities of the person who will be selected as the next chief of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM).

CONDUCT OF THE PUBLIC MEETING
The CSP would like to inform interested parties that the public meeting will be held as follows:

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2022 AT 1:30 P.M.
Council chamber at city hall (Lucien-Saulnier building)
155, rue Notre-Dame Est, Montréal (Québec) H2Y 1B5

The public session will be livestreamed on the standing committees’ dedicated web page.

QUESTION AND COMMENT PERIOD
The SRH’s presentation will be followed by a question and comment period for members of the public in the meeting room. Afterwards, time will be reserved for the reading of questions and comments from members of the public attending the meeting remotely. Lastly, the meeting will conclude with a question and comment period for CSP members.

If you would like to ask a question or make a comment, we invite you to register before the end of the break following the presentation by filling out the online form (in French) that will be available on September 28 on the consultation web page. On-site registration will also be available for those attending the meeting.

ACCESSIBILITY
The council chamber is accessible to persons with reduced mobility. The room is also equipped with a hearing aid system that can be accessed by tuning in to 100.3 FM on your portable player. An interpretation service in Québec Sign Language (LSQ) is available on request, subject to the availability of interpreters. To request the service, please contact the Service du greffe five days in advance.
