In this lecture, we will examine the role of the City of Westmount during the two World Wars. Specifically, this lecture will look at the contributions of Westmount’s citizens and City officials towards the War effort. These contributions came from all over the City and touched almost all aspects of the War (training grounds, helping the wounded, homes for the refugees, women’s efforts etc…).
