FULL – Westmount Platinum Party
On February 6, 2022, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth.
Celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a traditional English tea at Victoria Hall. A choir from Westmount school The Study will begin the event, followed by a concert by Musica Camerata Montréal, highlighting the works of English composers Samuel Coleridge Taylor and Gustav Holst. Vintage images of the Queen’s visit to Canada (and Westmount!) in 1957 and 1959 will be displayed.
