The curbside collection of bulky items is back!
The door-to-door collection of large household items will begin once again on May 1st. The goal of this collection is to divert certain items from landfill and ensure they are reused or recycled.
The collection takes place the first week of each month from May to October. Click here to view the sectors map and find out your collection day
Items must be placed curbside before 7 a.m. on collection day.
ACCEPTED ITEMS

Wardrobe, bookcase, desk, chair (non-upholstered), dresser, door, window frame, table, pallet and planks (no nails) - METAL ITEMS
Stove, dishwasher, washer, dryer, filing cabinet, barbecue (without gas tank), exercise equipment, bicycle, hot water tank, gardening tools, sink and safe - REFRIGERATING APPLIANCES
Refrigerator/freezer (> 2.5 ft3), plug-in air conditioning unit, water distributor and dehumidifier - CERAMIC ITEMS
Bathtub, toilet bowl and sink
REFUSED ITEMS
- CONSTRUCTION, RENOVATION AND DEMOLITION MATERIALS – ECOCENTRE
Brick, stone, soil, asphalt, concrete, drywall, flat glass, etc. - UPHOLSTERED OR GLASS ITEMS – DONATION CENTRE OR HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE
Sofa, mattress, cushion, rug, textile, glass table, toys, plastic furniture, etc. - HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE (HHW) – ECOCENTRE
Paint, motor oil, pesticides and fertilizers, propane tank, pool products, tires, etc. - ELECTRONIC WASTE – ECOCENTRE
Television, computer, printer, fax machine, sound system, etc.
