Garden waste collection as of April 22: Changes to collection days

The door-to-door garden waste collection begins Tuesday, April 22.

Important: Changes have been made to collection days in certain sectors.

Accepted materials

  • Residues in paper bags or open containers weighing no more than 50 lbs (22,68 kg)
  • Small branches up to 5 cm in diameter and 1.2 meters in length tied with natural twine:

Refused materials

  • Residue in plastic bags
  • Bags or containers weighing more than 50 lbs (22,68 kg)
  • Large branches or branches not tied
  • Soil, pebbles, rocks, logs and tree trunks

Please ensure that your garden waste is placed curbside before 7 a.m. on the day of the collection so that it can be picked up by the City.

Contractors with a City permit and residents with a proof of residency may also bring their garden waste to the Belvedere Road depot, which is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The depot is located on Belvedere Road, near the intersection with Côte-des-Neiges Road.
