Changes to traffic flow on Barat Road
The City of Montreal will carry out infrastructure work beginning February 15, 2016 on Atwater Avenue between Sherbrooke Street and Dr. Penfield Avenue. As part of this project, modifications to traffic flow will be necessary on a portion of Barat Road between Atwater et Holton Avenues, which will be open to local traffic only.
In addition, as the work progresses northward to the intersection of Barat Road, Barat will be temporarily closed to all traffic to allow the work to be carried out. This closure is expected to last approximately 3 weeks. Detour routes will be in place in the sector.
