Adjustments to the New Heating System at the Conservatory

Bringing a complex building such as the Conservatory into operation is an ongoing project that can usually be spread over a full year. This allows the mechanical functionality of the various building-related systems to be evaluated and adjusted over the four seasons.

In this context, adjustments to the Conservatory’s new heating system are currently underway. These adjustments aim to optimise energy consumption while maintaining adequate temperature conditions for the public and the plants inside the building. These adjustments are particularly complex and require a series of operations and tests before achieving the desired results.

In order to ensure an adequate minimum temperature for the plantings during this process, a backup heating system has been temporarily installed to provide additional heating when required. This supplementary system may cause some nuisances in terms of noise. It is expected to be removed at the end of the winter when temperatures are milder. The adjustments to the new heating system should also be completed in a few weeks, so alternative heating measures should not be necessary next winter.

Thank you for your understanding.
