Ville of Montréal: Complete closure of Route 136 from October 25 to 28

The Ministry of Transportation and Sustainable Mobility informs users that the Highway Ville-Marie (Route 136) will be closed eastbound, between the  Turcot interchange and downtown, from Friday, October 25 at 11:59 p.m. until Monday, October 28 at 5 a.m. This closure is necessary for slab repair work, which may lead to periods of congestion.

Traffic disruptions and management:

  • Complete closure of Route 136 eastbound between the Turcot interchange and the entrance from Rue de la Cathédrale.
  • Default closures at the Turcot interchange:
    • A-15 south (Décarie) to Route 136 east
    • A-15 north to Route 136 east
    • Entrance from Boulevard des Tanneries to Route 136 east

Note: The reserved lane of highway 20 eastbound will remain open. Detours will be marked with temporary signage. Please remain vigilant and plan your trips accordingly.

Work may be postponed, extended, or canceled due to unfavourable weather conditions or operational constraints. Therefore, before heading out, it is recommended to consult Québec 511, a practical tool for planning your travels effectively.
